United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities: An Ecumenical Venture

The work represents the history of a theological school founded in the midst of the turmoil of the 1960's but with a vision and commitment to ecumenical theological education in a liberal context. It is the documentation of a particular and local history which contributes to the larger history of theological education and its changes in the latter part of the 20th century. It is also part of the history of an important ecumenical venture, the United Church of Christ, in its formative years.
