Alligator pie

So begins one of the most beloved of modern children's rhymes, first introduced in 1974 by Dennis Lee and now reinvented for a new generation of children. Nora Hilb's witty, vibrant artwork makes the speaker's plea for "alligator pie," "alligator stew," and "alligator soup" all the more amusing.
