Scales and Pieces In All Keys, Book 1

Scales are fun in addition to being purposeful when they are learned from Schaum's SCALES AND PIECES IN ALL KEYS. Here are the prominent features of Book 1: 1. Each scale has an accompanying piece played in the same key which givesthe pupil the feeling of tonality. Here the pupil learns the purpose ofscales. 2. Space is provided where scales can be written by the pupil. Explanatorydata aids the pupil in forming new scales. 3. The pieces are intentionally kept easy. Playing in four and five sharpsis problem enough in early work. 4. Pupils record their scale progress on a Key Circle Chart (not shown indiagrams). This teaches the cycle of scales.
