Basics in Biology

Basics in Biology is a combination of a textbook, workbook, and lab manual. Students will learn the basics of biology by answering the questions, defining the terms, filling in the labels of the illustrations and doing the lab activities completely and thoroughly. Basics in Biology include: Unit Introductions - unit concepts are covered and key terms appear in bold. Defining the Terms - this section allows students to review the key terms and create flash cards. Review Questions - these guide students in understanding the information in each unit and provide a chance for students to add questions of their own. Homework Assignments - included in several sections of the text and lab activities, these enhance student comprehension.
