Killing Time (A Bill Slider Mystery)

Bill Slider is called to investigate the murder of a gay dancer. The dead man had hinted at a mysterious VIP lover and had recently been making more money than usual, so it seems blackmail is a real possibility. But Slider feels the murder is linked in some way to an attack on a colleague.
