Science for Engineering

Science for Engineering aims to develop in the reader an understanding of fundamental science concepts and to give a mechanical, thermal and electrical engineering-systems background for student engineers. The text specifically covers the GNVQ Engineering mandatory units Science and Mathematics for Engineering (Intermediate) and Science for Engineering (Advanced). However, it can be regarded as a basic textbook in engineering science for a much wider range of courses. Clear, concise explanations are supported by over 500 worked examples and over 1000 problems including multiple choice questions to provide practice for the GNVQ end of unit tests.
