The Silent Killer

When widower Sidney Middleton is found dead from carbon monoxide poisoning, Sheila Malory is deeply disturbed. The old man had seemed in rude health and the official explanation that the ageing wood-burning stove was faulty just doesn't seem to add up. Then there's the fact that his son, David Middleton, had been keen in recent months to pack his father away to a nursing home.
