South Africa (We Come from)

Young readers are invited to experience real South African life with Tshepo and stay in his home with his family in Soweto, take a bike ride around town, try some chewy biltong, sizzling barbecued beef or Tshepo's favourite food - porridge and find out how to play hopscotch. This book is one of a series which is intended to give young children a first introduction to daily life in different countries. Each country is presented through the experiences of a child who lives there. The books explore themes that children will be able to relate to such as food, school and play.
