When Bessie Anderson vanishes at the age of 82, "Fizz" Fitzgerald suspects foul play. But when she suggests a similarity between Bessie's case and that of a hiker's body found in the mountains, the police are amused. Fizz takes matters into her own hands, enlisting the help of a reluctant lawyer.
