Minstrels Tale

Once upon a time, ina far-off land...a minstrel is deceived by a friend who steals and marries his fiancee. Plunged into gloom, the minstrel travels far away trying to escape his unhappiness. Eventually he reaches a mysterious kingdom and is welcomed as a minstrel in the court of the king, where, to his surprise, the king himself notices his sadness. Not only that, but the King actually takes time off from his duties to listen to the minstrel's story...This charming tale of a caring king, whose loving concern helps restore the happiness of one of his subjects, illustrates in simple terms for young children how by being loving we can help heal others' wounds, and how by allowing others to love us, we can find healing ourselves.
