Spartan: A Novel

Separated at birth by the harsh customs of their Spartan people, the strong and healthy Brithos is raised by his family, while the weak Talos is abandoned to the wolves of Mount Taygetus, where is found and raised by a Helot, a people enslaved to Sparta, to become a champion of the vanquished race.
