The Hungry Ocean

In 1941, North Atlantic convoys of the merchant navy, battle the perils of the ocean between Halifax and Liverpool while being hunted by the enemy. David Johnson, an officer, first on the Venture and then on the Sirius, is part of the drama, while his family in London suffers through the blitz and wartime privations.
