By the Grace of God

Josie, at the age of ten, finds herself caught up in a family upheaval. Her mother is fighting a death-threatening disease. Her father, a happy-go-lucky Irishman, has never taken on the responsibilities of the family he sired. Gambling and drinking are his forte. Though scheming and vindictive, Josie also maintains her sense of humor throughout. She tries to maintain godliness alongside temptations. After a bitter divorce, she is thrust into the single life. She puts on her 'boxing gloves', realizing that she sometimes has to give in to her innermost passions and make ultimate decisions that will affect her future. Be life good or bad, she challenges the lure of it with gusto.
