Getting to the Root

Getting to the Root is a study on the seven deadly sins using seven stories from the Bible. Each story is retold in a fictional style followed by a chapter of exposition. The thesis of the book is that God gives us faith, hope and love as the antidote for sin. Faith, helps us overcome the sins of pride; hope, the sin of sloth and love, the sins of lust. The last chapter is a story about a man who dies and goes to heaven.
