Multistate Guide to Benefits Law 2004

In this 2004 edition of a reference for use in benefits departments, all tables and text have been updated to reflect changes in the law since the publication of the last edition. New tables have been added, and there is new material on medical information privacy regulations, benefits for domestic partners, compensation for overtime work, tax relief for certain transportation benefits, extension of unemployment benefits, and California's Family Temporary Disability Insurance Law. Charts provide citations to current state statutes and regulations. An introductory section discusses current issues in the benefits field, including the electronic health transactions rule of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
