Histology of the human eye;: An atlas and textbook
Description:
The teaching of ophthalmic histology has not changed significantly since the publication of the textbook by Salzmann (1912). the admirable textbook by Duke-Elder and Wybar (1961) partially fills this gap, but it is largely devoted to anatomy and is incomplete with respect to histology. Therefore, we decided to prepare this textbook for use in the teaching of postdoctoral fellows, residents, interns and medical students. It should be of value for all persons being trained in the visual sciences and should provide a research source for general histologists, biochemists and physiologists. (From the Preface.)
