Instructions for Pediatric Patients

This text consists of instruction sheets that provide information on the 137 most common health problems occurring in infants, children and adolescents. These sheets can be photocopied and distributed to parents on topics ranging from new baby care to common infections to paediatric dermatology and behavioural problems. The book aims to save physicians consultation time and to eliminate unnecessary telephone calls; when drug therapy is needed, space is allocated for the physician to insert the name of the drug, dosage and frequency. The book also offers advice on handling behavioural problems, including biting, night terrors and spoiled children and provides information on the impact of parental smoking on children with recurrent otitis media, coughs and wheezing.
