A Primer of Psychophysiology

This book gives the reader an overview of techniques such as Electronecephalography, the Galvanic Skin Response, and Electromygraphy. It also provides a narrative overview of key areas in current psychophysiology, such as biofeedback, cerebral asymmetry, lie detection, sleep and dreams, emotion, arousal, and patterning. Six appendices explain basic principles, such as an introduction to electricity, and advanced concepts, like the filtering of the EEG.
