The Story of a Stately Dolls House. It tells how a family of dolls, intent on bettering their circumstances, moved from their cramped quarters in a converted orange box to a specially build Stately Home. Though in the end this mansion boasted a staircase and sixteen rooms, two gardens and a choice collection of possessions, its owners resisted the temptation to open it to the public and instead decided to write a book about it.
