Shipwrecks of North Wales

This book describes the fascinating story of tragedy and heroism in the endless struggle against the sea. The earliest record of a shipwreck on this coast was found on a Roman tablet. Over the last 2000 years there have been countless more. The book charts the known records of shipwrecks between Barmouth, around the Anglesey coast, to Liverpool Bay. It includes the loss of HMS Conway, the submarine HMS Thetis and the world's first submarine, Resurgam, which lies off Rhyl.
