Starting with the premise that writing for children requires no less skill than writing for anyone else, this book first explains the factors that distinguish the publishing and marketing of books for children. It goes on to explain ways of writing for different age-groups and in different genres, using examples of established children's writers to offer basic guidelines, stimulus and encouragement.
