This is a collection of writings of the famed Reformer - along with editorial commentary "To give a strong and reliable impression of its subject." Professor Potter began the work and continued it until his death in 1981. Even at only half complete, the manuscript was then several times the length of the finished product. Dr. Potter's experience as an historian of the Reformation was immense.
