ABC British Railways Locomotives and Other Motive Power

This long-unavailable facsimile reprint of the Autumn 1964 edition is in the famous and by now very familiar Ian Allan abc series of locomotive and other motive power reference books. It lists the remaining pre-nationalisation locomotives along with the BR-built steam locomotives. The modernisation of the railway motive power scene can clearly be seen with the inclusion of the 'new era ' diesels, electrics and multiple-units. Perfect nostalgia for those lucky enough to be around at the time - and an informative slice of railway history for everyone else.
