A corpse a night was pretty good going, even by Mike Faraday's standards, especially as they turned up in "the friendliest town in the world". The laconic private eye was sent out on one of his toughest assignments. The life of General Diaz was threatened, and then three turned up from Cuba out of the past. With Stella on the other end of the phone, and Patti Morgan in his arms, Faraday was in his element, as events mounted to the goriest climax he could remember.
