According to the tip-off, "hot" British currency was being smuggled to Switzerland to be laundered into Swiss francs, hidden aboard one of the holiday cars in a safari-style convoy heading across Europe to Montreux. Jonathan Gaunt, external auditor for the Queen's and Lord Treasurer's Remembrancer, was to go along with the safari, pose as just another tourist, and get any lead he could. But sudden death trailed the holiday convoy every kilometre to Lake Geneva - where the real violence was still waiting...
