When prospector John Branagan sent a call for help from the valley in New Mexico Territory to his Texas Ranger son, Jim Branagan, the boy came a-running. Angus Flint, owner of the Box F, whose men had attacked and robbed John Branagan, was none too pleased by Jim's arrival. To Flint, the valley was his domain - and he didn't want any new settlers.
