This book commences with the foundations and methods of behaviour, including neuroethology, and progresses through production of behaviour relating to maintenance and social activities. Major features have been realigned and integrated since previous editions. Reproduction and development are given expanded sections, and abnormal behaviour is discussed with full clinical accounts of all identifiable syndromes of anomalous behaviour in agricultural animals. The final section relates to the practice of farm animal welfare.
