Gary M. Maranell was professor of sociology, University of Kansas at Lawrence. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology at the State University of Iowa. He is the author of Responses to Religion: Studies of Religious Attitudes as well as numerous articles, papers and reviews.
