In honor of the founder Oral Roberts 100th birthday, this book was released on January 24, 2018. What started in 1960 as a fledgling University with the motto, Make no little plans here, grew in scope and size at a breathtaking pace to become a premier Christian university. However, the rapid expansion resulted in escalating debt and a looming financial collapse. Even more troubling than the financial spiral, trust in the University by students, parents, and even faculty was being eroded. But then, what can only be called a miracle happened and the university turned around. This book is your behind-the-scenes pass to see this redemptive drama unfold. Drawing from numerous interviews conducted with the major players in the story, as well as from an extensive array of historic sources, The New ORU is the definitive record of a tumultuous but ultimately triumphant time in the University's history.
