Mist of the Moment (The Season Series)

"Mist of the Moment" follows book one, "A Different Season" in this Season's series by Author, Carol Nichols. "Mist of the Moment" finds Constance Sinclair comfortably situated at the Bordillon ranch in California with her new found family. She embraces her surroundings, immerses herself in the carefree lifestyle, and enjoys the romantic night time dinners with JJ. During a trip on the racing circuit where her horse, Black Magic excels Connie has a flashback and realization that her conversation with Charles' killer was the determining factor that led to her husband's death. Charles' presence is felt and unsettles her to the point of emotional breakdown. Connie flees California to her estate in Oklahoma only to bring the danger from which Charles is trying to protect her. Connie reunites with Rosie who helps, once again, add a comic interlude. The succession of moments continues to uncover more pieces of her dead husband's hidden past. The third novel in this Season's series, Sweet Summer Rain, is planned for fall of 2018.
