I Remember: Stories of a Combat Infantryman in World War II

This book tells what infantry combat was like for the author in two battles in Italy and eight in France and Germany while serving in the Third Infantry Division in World War II. It gives the reader a good idea what we ask from our young soldiers when sending them into combat. The author was very lucky to escape after being wounded and captured. The author was in front line infantry combat for a little over a year.
