Famous Church: What He Bought is So Much Better than What You Can Build

I think we may have missed our call to be excellent. We listen to the opinions and reactions of people around us to determine our value, identity, and ability instead of to the One who owns us and who paid the price for us. • Could it be that the way we interpret Scripture can, at times, encourage mediocrity? • Might our internal religious conditioning prohibit us from thinking rightly about ourselves out of fear of pride? • Might we actually neglect to see the fullness of what God desires for His church? The Apostle Paul knew how to be famous in God yet humble in himself. That is what learning how to abound truly is. It’s time to follow his example, set aside false humility and religious conditioning, and start truly magnifying Jesus. We are a city on a hill that is to be seen from far away.
