A Trip Down the Loxahatchee

Fifty two leading painters and photographers have captured the majesty and mystery of the Wild and Scenic river that splits the towns of Jupiter and Tequesta in southeastern Florida. A Trip Down the Loxahatchee takes the reader on an imaginary boat float that begins in its expansive headwaters, then through the fresh water upper section past Riverbend Park, Trapper Nelson's legendary camp, and Jonathan Dickinson State Park. In the brackish middle section you'll come to know the Southwest Fork, North Fork, the popular Sand Bar and historic Sawfish Bay. Cross under the U.S. 1 bridge and you're in the orbit of Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, with historic and modern highlights each time you turn the page.
