of Cabbages and Kings

Preface This is the third book in what will ultimately be a volume of five books. The remaining two are well of the way. As before I have drawn on my experiences both in life and in the course of my work as a Forensic Psychiatrist. I make comments on events which are dominating the world today. The clash of religions and cultures. Terrorism and intolerance . The world around me is changing and my own life is as well. I have turned eighty one and aging may have had an influence on my writing My topics are varied. I don’t expect everyone to agree with some of the things I say. Even I don’t always agree with some of my own propositions. I aim to make you think, to put aside prejudice and ask you to consider just how subjective the interpretation of reality can be. I am still concerned with the afterlife and with the soul. I have no idea whether any of these concepts coincide with the views of others, but I don’t think that matters. My aim is still basically to entertain. If I have touched your Mind and your Emotions then I will have had some measure of success. If I can persuade you that poetry is a gift which carries a responsibility, the responsibility to share and to interpret that which we perceive, I will have had some measure of success Once again, I offer thanks to Lewis Carroll and his concept of Wonderland Enjoy the poetry.
