The Line

The Line is an explosive and dark examination of the morality and social impact of the heroin epidemic that is ravaging the United States. The plot follows the lives of several main characters who are brought together through a violent course of events set against a backdrop of rural economic decay.

The central protagonist, Dwight Evans, is a state trooper with a grave medical prognosis and the lone law enforcement for the small town of Colebrook, Connecticut. When his niece, a recovering heroin addict, falls in love with a local pot dealer, he is drawn into the underworld of crime, corruption, and drugs sweeping through his once quiet town. In the end, he is forced to go to unthinkable lengths to protect what he loves.
