Ms. G's Shadowy Road to Fame

"On this second day of February, two thousand and fifteen," said Ashlee, in her most official voice, "Ms. G will use her superb forecasting skill to predict the weather for the second half of winter!" With that Ms. G nodded to the crowd and took a deep breath as she looked up at the sky. The sun was shining brightly and her shadow was as crisp as ever. For just a moment, she danced with her shadow to the thrill of those gathered. Ms. G, resident groundhog at Stoneymeade Farm, and Ashlee, a first grader at Hunnewell Elementary School, both share a love of weather, including all kinds of storms. The two meet while both chasing the same thunderstorm and quickly become close friends.
