Imagine the coming disaster when he told it like it is and published Ball Four, a famous diary of life in and out of town during a baseball season. There was honesty on the page and screams from numerous individuals involved in his very funny account of being a baseball player. Here is his follow-up book and what happened afterwards, with those named who were not very nice when Bouton decided to write another book. Extremely funny, very honest, and readable.
