A Song of Ascents: A Spiritual Autobiography

E. Stanley Jones (1894-1973) was a 20th century Christian missionary and theologian associated with the Methodist tradition. He is remembered chiefly for his work in India and the books The Christ of the Indian Road and A Song of Ascents: A Spiritual Autobiography.He wrote almost thirty books in total. An unique feature of some of his books is that, while they could be read from start to finish as normal, they were presented in the format of a daily reading including a Bible verse and a concluding sentence or phrase for meditation.He is also the founder of the Christian Ashram movement.
