This volume, the third is a complete library for the carpenter, do it yourselfer, and builder, gives special emphasis to the construction of the house and other buildeings. The book starts at ground level, as it were discussing the way buildings are laid out, Then it moves on to a discussion of the building's foundation including the new, all weather wooden foundation and gets into the art of form making (and an art it is, requiring a special breed of carpenter).
