Constance Tierney has a past so terrible that she has the physical scars to reminder her, but no memories to explain them. After she commits an irrational act of betrayal at work, she knows she has to confront that obscured past. As a mathematician and computer engineer she is confident she can figure out the secrets of her childhood and put her life back into order. When she returns to the now-deserted mansion her family shared, she discovers that those hidden secrets have lingered and taken on a life of their own. Remembering what the tortured child inside her had hidden will be the easy part of conquering the demons that remain.
