A Different Vision - The History of The Hobe Sound Company and The Jupiter Island Club

This book traces the history of the Hobe Sound Company efforts to develop the Jupiter Island Club and Jupiter Island and to also insure that significant natural areas were protected. The author, Nathaniel Pryor Reed, is the son of Joseph Verner Reed. He has been a full time resident of Jupiter Island for almost 50 years and was president of the Hobe Sound Company for 10 years. He shares a personal perspective of his families' vision and dedication to Jupiter Island and nearby Hobe Sound.
