Adventures in Flying

A collection of human interest aviation stories involving virtually every aspect of flying, including airplanes, gliders, ultralights, helicopters, balloons, blimps, and seaplanes. These are unusual--sometimes almost unbelievable--achievements of pilots who are, for the most part unknown, although there are also some stories about aviation heroes, including Jimmy Doolittle, Amelia Earhart, Malcolm Forbes. These stories illustrate courage, compassion and determination.
