Gihren uses Garma's funeral to rally support and energize the people of Zeon. Ranba Ral, the commander of the Zanzibar class battleship, enters Earth's atmosphere to go up against the White Base. Not content to sit in his chair, Ranba Ral goes out to fight the Gundam in his Mobile Suit, triggering a battle of cataclysmic proportions.
