The Leaving of Liverpool

Phoebe-Ann Parkinson, working as a lady's maid, dreamed of a much grander future than her sister Emily. But a tragic attack threatened to ruin Emily's life, and Phoebe-Ann was driven into the arms of Jake Malone, of the notorious Malone family. Abandoned by her family, Phoebe-Ann found her dreams turning to nightmares. But Emily began to recover, and Phoebe-Ann was able to look forward to leaving Liverpool, and her past, behind her.
