Beware of This Shop

At first, the little shop and its strange owner seem mysterious and exciting to Hester and her rich friend, Isabel. Then Isabel buys a ring -- and becomes deathly ill. Hester buys a small, china statue -- and has horrible nightmares. Other people have strange mishaps after they buy things there, too! Hester knows there is something evil about the shop. Even though she's afraid, she takes a job there -- and discovers the terrifying secret! Can she stop the evil before it's too late -- before it destroys her?
