In Pursuit of Motherhood: My Story of Loss and Triumph

Life is a tricky journey. We think we have it all planned out, or at the very least, we have a general idea of where we are heading. Before we know it, things happen and every plan we've made is out the window. Sometimes we don't even recognize the path we have been forced onto. This is where I found myself years ago. I always thought becoming a mother would be a pretty straightforward process. Get married, become pregnant and nine months later, motherhood is yours. Simple! Well, my journey was anything but simple. Parts of it were full of light and joy, while others included the absolute darkest moments I have ever experienced. Even so, I wouldn't change a single moment. These unexpected twists are where we find ourselves. It's where we discover our strength and resilience. It's how we realize that the good stuff after the dark is much sweeter than it ever could have been before. That's what I learned on my journey to motherhood. That's what I want to share with you.
