This book is a revised edition of the successful 2012 edition. A practical and precise method for estimating the health of urban trees is described with numerous examples. It is practical because the field observations are clearly defined and quickly recorded. And it is precise because different observers will arrive most of the time at the same conclusions...Field work consists of recording 5 critical "parameters" (traits of particular significance) within 20% categories, a process facilitated by the free app for Android and Apple phones--see video below. Following careful interpretation of the observations, the final health report can be presented in formats from a single word to a detailed discussion.
