Your Dad Loves You!

The author began to write this book to his children after his terminal diagnosis, stage 4 melanoma of the brain and lung. Through this upbeat and hope-filled guidebook, he seeks to pass wisdom to his children and show them how to trust in God's love, even when life is difficult. As the author began sharing his vision, he discovered many children and adults around the world have missed the love, protection, and guidance that God intends for an earthly father to provide. Jesus was radical in His day when He dared to call God his "Father." This was so offensive to some religious leaders that John the apostle reported they were ready to kill Jesus. Children, young and old, need to hear that their Dad in heaven loves them, even when they have suffered greatly. God promises to be a loving Father to the fatherless. About the author: Rob Stone graduated with a bachelor of science degree from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and served as an Air Force instructor pilot for several years. He then traveled the world as a missions pilot, flying in the jungles of Honduras and Irian Jaya, as well as relief aviation in war-torn Sudan and Afghanistan. As a graduate of Columbia International Seminary (MDiv), Rob later spent 8 years serving with Muslims in Central Asia, where he served, taught and founded a very active Culture Center. He met his beloved wife, Luda, during that tenure. Their first two children, Grace and Samuel, were born overseas. While in Asia, Rob was losing his eyesight and was subsequently diagnosed with terminal brain cancer during a visit to the States. Rather than die at home, he took his chemotherapy back to Asia in a suitcase. He injected himself weekly while helping young leaders grow. Those courageous, remaining leaders continue to serve their communities to this day. Wonderfully, God healed Rob of advanced melanoma which doctors say beyond medical explanation, truly a miracle.
