The Dog Dilemma!

Second-grader Amelia, and her five-year-old brother, Theo, desperately want to adopt a dog. Unfortunately, their parents do not think the kids are ready for the responsibility. Undeterred by this colossal setback, Amelia and Theo secretly enlist the help of their school librarian to uncover what their parents mean when they say "dogs are a lot of work." After learning all of the responsibilities involved, Amelia and Theo set out to change their parent's minds about adopting a dog by demonstrating that they are ready to pitch in and help take care of a rescue.
