Valley of the Mules

A novel built around detailed history of the early days of 1800s America in the Southeast on the frontier of Tennessee, Georia and Alabama. It covers immigrants from Europe migrating to the Georgia coast, moving to Lookout Mountain area of Tennessee and taking part in the War of 1812, Creek Indian War of 1813 and the infamous Trail of Tears. Fictinal characters live and die among the titans of America--Andrew Jackson, Aaron Burr, Davy Crockett and John Ross. The author spent over a decade researching and writing with the aid of rare historical data. The author grew up on a farm in Virginia and appreciated the value of mules in the birth of the South.
